There is an issue that is happening more and more in the used car business, flood damage to cars. Because of the increase in floods more cars are being cleaned up and taken to different states to be sold. Reports show that half of the cards damaged by floods are returned to the market. There are a few ways you can spot if a car you see has flood damage or not. First you need to inspect the car and look for things such as water stains, mildew, and fogging instead head lights and tail lights. You can also do a smell test. If you smell cleaners it is most likely been cleaned heavily because of a flood. Lastly, get a history report on the vehicle you are looking at.
