Due to COVID-19, we are initiating our Disaster Relief Plan for the entire United States and US territories. Here’s what we are going to do to assist our customers:
Beginning with bills dated March 26, 2020:
- If it is time to issue a Cancellation Notice, we’ll issue a normal bill instead.
- If it is time to request cancellation – we will hold off until the end of the disaster relief program.
- If it is time to send a policy to collections – we will hold off until the end of the disaster relief program.
We will be providing recovery scans for the policies that may fall outside the above guidelines.
The minimum due on the additional bills will be any past due amount plus the current installment. These additional bills will not include a service charge.
Washington DOI put out this order where cancellation or services charges will not apply. The order will remain in effect for 45 days, until May 9, 2020.
