Washington Progressive Customers Offered Assistance during the Coronavirus (COVID-19)

As a result of Coronavirus (COVID-19), the state of Washington has ordered all insurance companies to suspend non-pay cancellations until May 15th.

If your customer is in the state, we have taken the following actions.

·         We’ll keep their coverage active. This includes reinstating policies for nonpayment through May 15, 2020. If they do not want to maintain their policy, please call us as soon as possible.

·          We have extended the time they have to make a payment. Please note that payment will need to be made in full and received or postmarked by May 15, 2020. So, for example, if they make installment payments and choose to wait until May 15, 2020, all of the installments will be due by that date. They simply have a little more time to make the payments.

·          If your customer normally has their payment automatically withdrawn from their account, we’ll continue to withdraw payments as usual, unless they ask us to stop.

This applies to all Progressive insurance products that are written in the state of Washington.
